FAQ
Is this suncatcher made of real glass and wood?
To make it lightweight, shatter-resistant, and completely safe to hang on any window or doorway, our suncatchers are crafted from premium high-density 2D flat acrylic. Using advanced UV printing technology, it reproduces the deep colors, textures, and visual depth of classic stained glass and rustic wood trim—giving you the artisan aesthetic without the fragile weight or breakage hazard of real leaded glass.
Does it need direct sunlight to look good?
It looks striking in any setting! In direct sunlight, natural daylight streams through the translucent UV inks, illuminating the rich floral hues and casting colorful reflections across your room. In softer indoor or ambient lighting, the high-contrast central lettering and wood-grain pattern function as a crisp, stylish piece of wall or porch art.
What is included for hanging? How easy is it to install?
Each piece arrives pre-fitted with a durable hanging cord and is ready to display right out of the box. Because it is ultra-lightweight, you don't need heavy hardware—it hangs securely on a standard window suction cup, an adhesive hook, a nail, or an existing porch hook in seconds.
Can I hang this outdoors on my porch or patio?
Yes, it is suitable for outdoor display in covered areas like front porches, screened patios, balconies, or sunrooms. To ensure the UV print stays vibrant for years, we recommend keeping it shielded from prolonged direct downpours and severe freezing weather.
Which size is right for my space?
